January 6th 2014 – Diamond Bakery announced today that their Sharing Heartwarming Aloha Video went viral over the past two weeks, receiving more than 38,000 views on YouTube.
“For over 90 years our brand promise has been to share heartwarming aloha with the people of Hawaii though our crackers, cookies, and community support,” said Brent Kunimoto, President of Diamond Bakery Company, Ltd. “We had no idea we would receive such an outpouring of Aloha when we produced this video for the community.”
In October of 2014, Diamond Bakery launched three new soda cracker flavors including – Furikake, Sweet Chili and Cinnamon Toast. The brand decided to take the crackers on the road to share aloha with kama‘aina in the spirit of the holiday season. The team visited Makapuu Beach, Sandy Beach, Halona Blow Hole, Ala Moana Beach Park, Fort Street Mall, and several retail locations. “In the short time since these new crackers launched, we have received great reviews. As you can see from the video, people just loved the new flavors. The aloha was simply contagious!” enthused Mr. Kunimoto.
Since the video was launched it has received over 38,000 YouTubes views, 879 YouTube Likes, 112 Facebook shares, and 688 likes on Facebook, with the numbers growing daily. Diamond Bakery would like to thank the people of Hawaii for their support and invite those who have not seen the video to view it on their Facebook page.
