Make and Bake

May-July 2010

This is a summer family contest to Make & Bake something using Diamond Bakery products. Contestants use crackers and cookies to construct a miniature structure and create an original recipe. Proceeds from sales of Diamond Bakery products during the promotional period are donated to the Aloha United Way. And you thought Diamond Bakery products were only for eating!

Contest Details

• Your favorite Diamond Bakery products could make you a winner!
• Contest runs from May 15 to July 31, 2010.
• Open to all Oahu families.

Make something...
It's OK to play with your food! Build a structure—a house, a hut, a car, you name it— with the body composed primarily of Diamond Bakery products. Whatever you build has to be at least 12" high, 12" long, and 12" wide.

...& Bake something
Get creative! Come up with an original pupu or dessert recipe. Each entry should contain a maximum of 8 ingredients, with the primary ingredients being Diamond Bakery products.

What you could win

• First Place—$1,500 cash plus a one-year supply of Diamond Bakery products (value up to $500)
• Second Place—$1,000, plus a six-month supply of Diamond Bakery products (value up to $300)
• Third Place—$500 cash, plus a three-month supply of Diamond Bakery products (value up to $100)

HOW TO ENTER

• Submit a photo of your structure and pupu or dessert online at Midweek.com or diamondbakery.com
• The deadline for entries is July 31, 2010
• From August 1 to August 15, 2010, all submissions will be open forpublic voting online. The top 10 finalists from each category will beselected for the final judging
• From the top 10 finalists in each category, five judges will select the three final winners. One of them could be you!
