Job Details
Production Packers report to the designated team leader and/or Production Supervisor or Manager to ensure timely and accurate execution of all activities associated with the packaging of Diamond Bakery products.
Salary: From $15 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- All packers are expected to be in their designated work area per daily crewing assignments schedules. Exception to the assignment is only allowed with prior approval from her/his team leader or Supervisor.
- Follow all the established standard operating procedures and learn knowledge in picking up, loading, and packaging products.
- Sorting and packing crackers and cookies on production line.
- He/She is also expected to be a reliever to his/her fellow employees on their time of work hours break.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Good hand and eye coordination required.
- Other tasks from time to time as determined by designated team leader, supervisor, or manager.

Job Details

Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Merchandise support.
- Maintain appropriate product levels in the cracker & cookie aisle and display locations at stores.
- Maintain clean and organized back-room inventory of Diamond Bakery products.
- Maintain merchandising standards while rotating products according to date codes.
- Be able to build and maintain store end cap displays.
- Route sales support
- Cover Routes in the absence of a Route Sales Representative
- Pull and deliver orders to stores as assigned.
- Adhere to route schedule and follow the instructions from the supervisor.
- Must be able to drive a box truck.

Minimum Requirements & Educational Level:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license
- 1-2 years of Selling experience preferred
- Experience in the Consumer Package Goods industry preferred.
- Successful completion of post-offer background checks, drug screens, physicals, and motor vehicle reports for moving violations.
- Able to lift over 50lbs or more.
- Willing to work over 40 hours required.
- Willing to work weekends and Holidays if needed.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Hawaii’s largest manufacturer of crackers and cookies seeks energetic & hard-working individuals who live excellence in everyday life.
This position is designed to maximize sales and customer service through safe and effective planning, selling, ordering, and in-store servicing. This role works directly with store managers and personnel to ensure high sales and customer service is provided in retail accounts. This person is the store’s primary contact and is responsible for all accounts assigned within a designated territory.
Salary: $55K+ Annually

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive revenue growth within assigned sales territory through direct delivery to stores:
- Operating Diamond Bakery box truck – creating orders, invoices, delivery, merchandising, and facing to ensure product availability.
- Establish rapport with key store individuals, adhere to route schedule, and adequately order authorized products.
- Maintain proper inventory, set stores to schematic and ensure proper display, rotation, and pricing of all products, manage out-of-stocks, replace outdated or damaged products, communicate to customers or managers about service matters, maintain company-owned equipment, and properly handle paperwork.
- Conduct effective fact-gathering to prepare store-specific sales plans, identify and act on selling opportunities, deliver effective sales presentations to store management, effectively use sales data, and create the sales order.
- Take responsibility for timely product deliveries and coordination with back-room receivers and store personnel.
- Follow store schedules and act with a sense of urgency to service calls from customers.
- Anticipate and respond to competitor activities, maintain/increase space and displays.
- Operate Company vehicles safely and follow DOT standards.
- Complete start of shift vehicle inspection and keep accurate records, including driver logbook.
